Who we are

schedule.casa is a personal scheduling app. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at greenbeanmaxine@gmail.com.

What we access

With your permission, we use:

1. Your Google account name and email — only to sign you in and let you join communes (shared task groups).

2. Your Google Calendar events, read-only — only if you choose to connect it, so we can show those existing events inside your schedule.casa calendar. We never create, edit, or delete anything in your Google Calendar.

3. Your Google Classroom coursework, read-only — only if you choose to connect it, so we can turn your assignments into to-dos and due-date reminders inside schedule.casa. We never create, edit, or delete anything in Google Classroom.

How we use it

We use this information solely to provide features you ask for — signing in, communes, syncing your schedule across your own devices, and displaying your calendar. We do not use your data for advertising, and we never sell it.

Where it's stored

Your schedule data is saved on your own device and, when you are signed in, synced privately to your account in Google Firebase so you can use it across devices. When you connect Google Calendar, your events are cached only in your browser on your own device (so the app loads quickly) and are never copied to or stored on our servers.

Sharing

We don't share your data with third parties. Other commune members only see the schedule items you explicitly choose to share with a commune.

Your control

You can disconnect Google Calendar or revoke schedule.casa's access at any time at your Google account permissions. Email us at greenbeanmaxine@gmail.com to delete your account data.

Limited Use

schedule.casa's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, the Google user data we access (your Google Calendar events, Google Classroom coursework, and basic profile):

• is used only to provide and improve the user-facing features described above;
• is not transferred to others except as necessary to provide those features, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition (and only with continued protection under this policy);
• is never used for advertising;
• is never sold; and
• is never read by humans, except with your explicit consent for a specific support request, where necessary for security purposes or to comply with applicable law, or where the data has been aggregated and anonymized.

AI & machine-learning models (Google Workspace APIs)

schedule.casa does not use — and does not allow anyone else to use — data obtained through Google Workspace APIs (your Google Calendar and Google Classroom) to develop, improve, or train generalized and/or non-personalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models. That data is used only to display your events / turn your assignments into to-dos and reminders inside the app; it is never sent to, or used to train, any AI or ML model.
